CRKT Pilar Large Black Stonewash
Item #: CL-5315KS
$39.95
Where minimal design meets maximum utility—just a little bit bigger. With a larger blade and a handsome black stonewash finish, the Pilar® Large keeps the spirit of the bestselling original and the epic tale behind its name. Jesper Voxnaes designed the Pilar® to be a reliable everyday carry and named it after Ernest Hemingway's beloved boat—the 38-foot long vessel that he used for renegade surveillance of German U-boats during WWII in Caribbean waters.
The hardworking blade features a black stonewash finish and the strong tip is useful for more detailed tasks. It's deployed from its stainless steel handle with a thumb slot opening option as well as a flipper mechanism and is secured with a frame lock for your safety. The 2-5/8" modified sheepsfoot blade is made from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel and has hardness of 58-60 Rc. The closed length is 4". Weighs 4.1 oz. Made in China. Suggested Retail $64.99.
