The CRKT® Q Compact is based on a larger custom folder designed by Richard Rogers, a knifemaker from New Mexico who has had several knife designs produced by CRKT. The lines of the profile, with the blade in the deployed position, move smoothly from blade tip to pocket clip, creating a beautifully simple and elegant folder. The low profile blade flipper easily deploys the blade with help from the IKBS™ ball bearing pivot. This model is all black DLC coated with a marbled Carbon Fiber inlay that is infused with copper, creating an eye-catching knife.
The 3" black DLC coated blade is S35VN stainless at 59-61 Rc. for excellent cutting performance. A liner-style lock secures the blade in the open position. The black DLC coated aluminum handle has marbled carbon fiber inlays on both sides. The single position deep-pocket clip is positioned for right-hand tip-up carry. Measures 4" closed. Weighs 2.0 oz. Includes a Certificate of Authenticity and a zippered nylon pouch. Made in Taiwan.
