The Xolotl™ (pronounced show-low-tl) was designed by Michael Rodriguez, one of only two Americans to ever have graduated the Irish Army Ranger Wing Sniper Course. The Xolotl is part of CRKT's Forged by War program which allows knife designers who are veterans to select a charity of their choice to which a portion of the proceeds from their knife design will be donated. For this knife that charity is the Global War on Terrorism Memorial Foundation. The Xolotl Fixed is a remake of the original folding design, bringing the original’s design to a new form.
The spear point blade has a dagger grind and is sharp on both sides of the blade.Veff Serrations™ on the bottom blade edge help to provide powerful rope cutting performance. The SK-5 blade steel has a black powder coating and measures 4-1/2” in length. The black G-10 handle helps to provide a solid grip in all conditions and is attached to the full tang with three black coated screws. Measures 9-7/8” overall. The thermoplastic sheath offers multiple mounting options. Weighs 5.8 oz. Made in Twaian. Suggested retail $120.00.
