W. R. Case and Sons'® roots go back to 1889, when the four brothers sold handcrafted knives out of the back of a wagon in New York. Their knives have been used, collected and handed down for generations. Each year Case® knives will choose a knife pattern that they will bring out of the vault, they produce that pattern in several handles materials, after the year is over they return that pattern to the vault and will not produce it again. It is called the Case® XX Vault® program. The knife pattern brought out of the Vault for 2024 was the Razor. This knife pattern reminds one of a Barlow with the elongated bolster, creating a timeless look and feel. The main blade has a distinctive "hook" at the tip which allows it to be opened one-handed.

All blades are mirror polished Tru-Sharp™ surgical stainless at 54-57 Rc. with nickel silver bolsters and Badge shield, and brass liners. Comes with two blades a 3" one hand/razor blade and a 2-1/4" pen blade. Measures 3-7/8" closed.  Handle scales are Russell Jigged Bone that is dyed a rich brown color. The Russell Jigging pattern is one of the best with a very fine texture. Slipjoint (meaning the blades do not lock). The main blade is etched CASE BROTHERS. Made in the U.S.A.
