I never cease to be amazed at the things that can be made successfully from Ceramic, but this is a knife I could wear and use. The blade and full tang are one piece of white Zirconium Dioxide, a material second only to diamonds in hardness. This extreme hardness means the edge will retain its original sharpness for years of normal use without the need for re-sharpening. The tang is wrapped with parachute cord to produce a comfortable handle.
The drop point blade is 2-1/2" in length, and it measures 5-1/4" overall and weighs 1.4 oz. (2.1 oz. in the sheath). Nice and lightweight, comfortable to wear around the neck. Ships with a molded nylon sheath with metal chain and includes a lanyard tail for easy removal from the sheath. Made in China.
