SOG Bowie II
Item #: SOG-S1T
$209.95
SOG Speciality Knives' flagship is a replica of the original knife used by the Vietnam War Era's 5th Special Forces Group known as the Studies and Observation Group (SOG). Secretly developed and used in covert missions, the original SOG knife was a steadfast companion in one of the harshest environments in the world.
To provide the same basic stacked leather washer handled knife at a more appealing price, SOG took the design to Taiwan. The result is a quality product at a lower price. Unlike the originals, all metal parts, including blade, guard and pommel are protected with Black TiNi Hardcased coating, the very best available for appearance and protection. The 6-3/8" bowie blade of AUS-8 at 57-58 Rc. with a deeply hollow grind and faceted reinforced tip make this a field knife for tough chores or missions. Measures 11" tip to butt and weighs 10.3 oz. The snapped black leather sheath is equipped with a sharpening stone pocket (stone included). Suggested retail is $221.95. Made in Taiwan.
