SOG® calls the Snarl a functional fantasy knife. Designed in conjunction with Jason Brous, a 10-year CNC machinist and custom knifemaker, the Snarl reminds us of the A. G. Russell Ringers produced by CRKT® a few years ago. The circles in the handle accommodate your index and third finger with the middle finger fitting in the half circle for added support. This positions the edge for cutting while leaving the fingers free to grab or hold another object. An extremely compact piece, it is ideal for a variety of tasks including opening boxes and self-defense. The entire knife is made from a single piece of 9Cr18MoV stainless at 58-60 Rc., with a 2-1/4" cutting edge. Jimping on the spine, where the thumb rests, provides a more secure grip. Ships with a molded hard nylon sheath designed for either belt or neck carry. Weighs 2.1 oz. Made in China. Suggested retail is $55.95.
