Item #: SRK-COM26BMB
$795.00
Sam Roddy started making knives as a hobby when he was very young. He had the opportuinity to work for a period of time with Northwest Arkansas knifemaker Keith Murr. Keith allowed him to work and learn in his shop. Sam is now a full time knifemaker with his own fully equipped knife shop. He makes quality Hunting and Every-Day-Carry knives. He also makes High Carbon Damascus for his own use, and for other knifemakers. We introduced his Maverick in the A.G. Russell catalog in early 2024.
This model is his Companion, a small drop point hunter. He has chosen to use Mammoth Ivory Bark for the handle scales, which he finishes beautifully. Black fiber liners seperate the handle scales from the full tang. The scales are held to the tang using epoxy and a mosaic pin that also adds a touch of elegance. The 3" drop point blade is Nitro-V stainless at 61-62 Rc. with a satin finish. Measures 6-7/8" tip to butt. Weighs 4.0 oz. Ships with a well fitted brown leather pouch style sheath in the Keith Murr style, handmade by the maker. Proudly handmade in Northwest Arkansas.
