Sam Roddy is an impressive young man. He is a relatively new knifemaker who decided in 2022 that there should be a Custom Knife Show in Northwest Arkansas. He and his wife Bridgette are the organizers of the Natural State Knife Show here in Rogers.
Sam started making knives as a hobby and had the good fortune to connect with Northwest Arkansas knifemaker Keith Murr. Keith allowed him to work and and learn in his shop. Sam is now a full time knifemaker with his own fully equipped knife shop. He makes quality Hunting and Every-Day-Carry knives. He also makes High Carbon Damascus for his own use, and for other knifemakers.
This model is his Outlander model. The full tang blade has red fiber liners that support the beautiful Amber Stag handle scales that are polished. Two mosaic pins hold the handle scales in place, adding a bit of elegance. The 3-1/4” drop point blade is satin finished. Measures 7-1/2" tip to butt. The knife weighs 4.8 oz. Ships with a well fitted brown leather pouch style sheath in the Keith Murr style, handmade by the maker. Proudly handmade in Northwest Arkansas.
