A new model for Spyderco, designed by co-founder and Blade Magazine Hall of Fame® member Sal Glesser. The Bodacious™ is a heavy-duty folding knife named after a legendary American bucking bull. Inspired by that animal's strength and indomitable spirit, its sturdy construction offers unfailing reliability.
Its broad, leaf-shaped blade is full-flat ground from CPM® S30V® stainless steel and features a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™ for swift, one-handed deployment with either hand. The knife's handle is built on a framework of skeletonized stainless steel liners nested within smooth black G-10 scales and reinforced by a minimalist stainless steel backspacer. In addition to providing structural strength, the liners form the foundation of the knife's ultra-reliable Compression Lock® mechanism and they also provide a secure mounting platform for its broad-based pocket clip.
The blade measures 3-5/8" in length with a hardness of 59-61 Rc. The closed length measures 4-5/8". The pocket clip is reversible for a tip up left or right-hand carry. A lanyard hole at the butt of the handle allows for easy attachment of fobs and safety lanyards. Weighs 4.5 oz. Made in the U.S.A. Suggested Retail is $300.00
