The Cara Cara2 is the newest evolution of the Cara Cara in Spyderco's line of Byrd knives. Byrd knives are an entry-level series of knives designed, produced and imported by Spyderco. Just right for the budget conscious, these knives are hardworking and tough, with many design options. Each byrd knife features 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blades. 8Cr13MoV blade steel is similar to AUS-8 in its properties and performance. It contains both molybdenum and vanadium with close to 1% carbon content. Flat ground drop point blade measures 3-7/8". The comet shaped opening hole is a byrd knife trademark. Handles are black G-10 with skeletonized nested liners.
A 4-way ambidextrous pocket clip for tip-up/tip-down right or left handed carry completes the package. Measures 4-3/4" closed and weighs 5.5 oz. Made in China. Suggested retail for $76.00.
