The Meadowlark2 is a member of Spyderco's line of Byrd knives. Byrd knives are an entry-level series of knives designed, produced and imported by Spyderco. Just right for the budget conscious, these knives are hardworking and tough, with many design options. Backed by the Spyderco reputation, and made with quality materials, you can't go wrong with these knives.

Each Meadowlark knife features a flat ground 2-15/16" 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blade at 57-59 Rc., available in either plain or combo edge. 8Cr13MoV blade steel is similar to AUS-8 in its properties and performance. It contains both molybdenum and vanadium with close to 1% carbon content. The comet shaped opening hole is a Byrd knife trademark. Handles are FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon), with bi-directional textured handle and skeletonized nested liners. A 4-way ambidextrous pocket clip for tip-up/tip-down right or left handed carry completes the package. Measures 4" closed and weighs 2.7 oz. Made in China. Suggested retail $49.88.
