The Meadowlark2 with G-10 handles is part of Spyderco's line of Byrd knives. Byrd knives are an entry-level series of knives designed, produced and imported by Spyderco. Each Meadowlark knife features a hollow ground 2-15/16" 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blade at 57-59 Rc., the 8Cr13MoV blade steel is similar to AUS-8 in its properties and performance. It contains both molybdenum and vanadium with close to 1% carbon content. The comet shaped opening hole is a Byrd knife trademark. Handles are black G-10 with skeletonized nested liners. An ambidextrous tip-up/tip-down pocket clip completes the package. Measures 4" closed and weighs 2.7 oz. Made in China. Suggested retail $70.35.
