This slim knife from Spyderco was originally released in 2011 as a pocket-friendly gentleman's folding knife that celebrates the diversity of different handle materials and treatments. The thin styling helps to keep the weight to a minimum and ensures an easy carry. Like the other members of Spyderco's Chaparral family, this knife features a full-flat-ground plain edge blade made from premium CTS® XHP stainless steel, a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™ for ambidextrous one-handed opening, a sturdy back lock mechanism and a reversible deep-pocket wire clip that supports discreet left or right-side tip-up carry.
The tough fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) handle construction minimizes weight and gives the user a good grip with the Bi-Directional Texturing™ pattern. The nested skeletonized stainless steel liners help to ensure excellent structural strength.
The leaf shaped blade measures 2-3/4" with a closed length of 3-5/8". The satin finished blade steel has a hardness of 58-60 Rc. Handle is gray FRN. Weighs 2.1 oz. Lockback. Made in Taiwan. Suggested retail $167.00.
