Spyderco Para Military 2 Brown Canvas Micarta
Item #: SPC81MPCW2
$217.95
Part of Spyderco's C.Q.I. (Constant Quality Improvement) program, the Para-Military design has evolved over time yet staying true to its roots. Introduced in 2004 the Para Military was inspired by Spyderco's iconic Military™ model. In 2010 Spyderco redesigned the Para Military to yield the Para Military 2. This second generation of the design incorporated an improved lock detent., refined ergonomics, countersunk handle and pivot screws. These enhancements were extremely received and quickly established the Para Military 2 as one of Spyderco's most popular designs.
This stunning expression of the iconic Para Military 2 pairs a CPM CRU-WEAR blade with classic brown canvas Micarta handle scales. Its full-flat-ground PlainEdge™ blade capitalizes on CRU-WEAR's hard-earned reputation for taking and holding a superior edge while remaining tough and resilient. The precision-machined scales are supported by skeletonized stainless steel liners, that also forms the backbone of the knife's Compression Lock mechanism. They reveal the Micarta's handsome layered construction and provide a platform for a four-position pocket clip and lined lanyard hole that support all possible carry positions and preferences.
The modified clip point blade measures 3-1/2" and has a hardness of 60-62 Rc. The pocket clip is reversible for a tip-up or down left or right-hand carry. The closed length measures 4-3/4" and weighs 3.9 oz. Made in Golden, Colorado U.S.A. Suggested Retail $290.00.

Spyderco
In 1981, Spyderco ventured into the world of knife making by introducing their first folding knife, the C01 Worker. This knife was the first in the industry to feature a round hole in the blade design that allowed for fast, one-hand opening, now the company’s trademark, and the first to feature a pocket clip. The trademarked round hole is the most recognizable feature of a Spyderco knife and it facilitates the easy opening and closing of these knives with one hand while also offering convenient access and maximum control while opening as well as accommodating large, small or gloved hands.
Spyderco’s recognizable appearance is a result of designing ergonomically functional tools rather than applying lipstick and nylons to a pocketknife. Spyderco’s knives may look unusual, but they will never be called unusable or undependable. When you purchase a Spyderco knife, you are buying a high quality reliable cutting tool that was designed and manufactured for peak performance and ergonomic comfort.
