The Persistence is a smaller version of the Tenacious, the first in Spydercos Value folders made in China. The quality is similar to Japanese or American produced Spyderco® knives and the price is much lower. The handle is blue injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) scales. Tucked inside are skeletonized steel liners increasing the handle's rigidity and strength without adding weight or bulkiness.
The 2-3/4" modified drop point blade is CPM-S35VN stainless at 58-60 Rc. It is leaf-shaped and ground flat from spine to cutting edge for top cutting capability and has a fully serrated edge. The blade's shape coupled with an oversized Spyderco® Round Hole and textured spine jimping allow you to open the blade and position your thumb on the spine with confidence - ready for work. A Walker style lock (with jimped liner) and a 4-way pocket clip allow for tip-up or tip-down carry and left-hand or right-hand opening. Measures 4-1/8" closed and weighs 3.4 oz. Made in China.
