Gil Hibben has been making knives since he retired from the Navy in 1956. He is a very well known custom knifemaker and an inductee into the Cutlery Hall of Fame. The Hibben IV Combat Machete is part of the Hibben IV knife series.
Built to last, this knife features a machete style blade made from solid 440 stainless steel.
With a hardness of 56-58 Rc. The blade measures 12-1/2" and is 3/16" thick. The handle is solid hardwood with a stainless steel guard, pommel and a lanyard hole at the butt of the knife. Comes with a brown leather sheath. The overall length is 17-1/2". Weighs 1 lb 15.8 oz. Made in China. Suggested Retail $159.50.
