Black Micarta® with leather, in the standard Randall® Model 25 handle configuration, is one of the few variations in handle material for Randall's most popular hunter. You see this model most often with India Stag used with the leather, but recently Randall has been offering it with Desert Ironwood, Ivorite and occasionally with material provided by the customer. A short time ago, they began to offer black Micarta as a standard choice. The black Micarta contrasts very nicely with the caramel brown of the leather.

The 5" drop point hunter blade is made from 1/4" thick O-1 high carbon tool steel (not stainless). (We recommend RustFree™ to protect your blade from rust. Order RF125 . . . . $7.95.) The handle is Leather and black Micarta with brass hilt, butt cap and spacers. Measures 9-1/2" and weighs 9.6 oz. Ships with a brown leather sheath. Handmade in Orlando, Fl.

(8-2024) Due to Randall's high volume of orders, if not on our shelves when you order, delivery of Randall knives ordered from A. G. Russell is currently taking 10-12 months. If ordered directly from Randall the wait is currently about 6 years.

Randall Made Knives

For over 75 years, Randall knives have been the best-known handmade knives in the world. No two Randall Made™ knives are exactly alike, for no jigs or patterns are used in their final construction. Large-scale commercial production with this kind of attention to detail is not feasible and that's why knives of this unique quality are not widely available.

Gary Randall, the present owner, took over from his father, W. D. "Bo" Randall, in the mid 1970's and the shop remains so busy that today it takes over five years to get a knife directly from them. We are one of the few authorized Randall dealers, and try to keep a stock of their knives. Because our orders with Randall are booked years in advance, if we don't have the knife that you want in stock, we can usually have it for you about 10 months, knives with stag will take a year or more. For anyone wanting to order directly from Randall the price will be lower but the wait will be extremely long.
